The Religious Education syllabus is designed as a seven-year course, beginning from Grade 1 and ending in Grade 7.It is made up of six themes at lower primary school level (Grades 1- 4) namely creation, worship, festivals and Holy days, Christian moral values, the home, family and the community as well as miracles and teachings of Jesus Christ. The same themes are maintained with the addition of one theme (The Holy Bible as God’s word) at upper primary (Grades 5-7). This syllabus follows the spiral approach to accommodate the cognitive levels of the learners
